GEO has extensive experience working through the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA) process within the Formerly Used Defense Site (FUDS) Program; including preparing Preliminary Assessments, Site Inspections, Remedial Investigations/Feasibility Studies, Proposed Plans, Records of Decision, and Remedial Design and Remedial Action Plans. Additionally, GEO has performed these activities on projects in Kentucky, Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, Illinois, Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska, Louisiana, and Georgia providing experience working with several State regulatory agencies and guidelines as well as multiple USEPA Regions. Examples of the types of sites where work was performed include Ordnance Plants, Engineer Depots, Army Air Stations, Army Air Fields, Prisoner-of-War Camps, Military Reservations, Naval Air Stations, and Atlas, Bomarc, and Nike Missile Sites.
